Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include providing professional advice to customers on the selection and implementation of innovative SAP technologies. By using advanced tools and methods, you will ensure that the solutions are always up to date. You will always consider individual needs and ensure a positive customer experience.
- SAP Basis administration within complex system landscapes, encompassing system optimization, maintenance, and upkeep
- Planning, installation, and configuration of various SAP products (Solman, Fiori, ECC, FS-CD, CRM, Solution Manager, NetWeaver)
- Creation of modern SAP-based architectures and concepts (cloud, on-premise, and hybrid architectures) and their successful implementation
- Active involvement in internal technology and transition discussions, including SAP Cloud Migration, SAP RZ Transition, and SAP operations
- Installation and initiation of SAP NetWeaver systems
- Performance management within the SAP environment
- Providing technical basis consulting for SAP implementation projects
- Handling customer inquiries and error messages in the SAP Basis environment
- Planning, managing, and executing SAP life cycle management activities (hotfixes, patches, upgrades, releases)
Qualifications
- Completed academic degree with a technical background and several years of professional experience as an SAP Basis Consultant / Architect
- With consulting experience and a strong customer service mindset, you propose competitive and innovative technical SAP solutions and decisions that gain customer approval and reliably implement agreements
- Ability to communicate technical ideas in a business-friendly language
- Interest in modern organizational structures and an agile work environment (SCRUM)
- Experience in leading a variety of activities related to project implementation within an organization, such as SOW negotiations, project initiation, client management, project execution, and implementation
- Significant SAP HANA and S/4 HANA experience
- Proficient handling of SAP HANA in large installations
- Experience with applications on various platforms (Red Hat Linux, Windows, Linux)
- Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python
- Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English, German is an additional asset
