Responsibilities
Our security consulting approach focuses on ensuring the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of data and systems. As an experienced senior consultant, you will work on a holistic security approach to help our clients make their digital environment highly resilient to cyber threats.
- Comprehensive approach to securing IT services and systems
- Embedded Security: Contributing to strengthening the resilience of digital environments to cyber threats
- Prevention: Identifying vulnerabilities and actively participating in preventive measures
- Designing secure IT infrastructures in complex networks
- Implementing security solutions to optimize operations
- Designing access rights and identity management (Identity & Access Management)
- Risk & Compliance activities with a focus on IoT security
- Cloud and hybrid cloud security and advising on cloud computing infrastructure security
- Security of system-centric platforms (SAP, CI/CD, Kafka)
- Application security in development and operational phases
- Ransomware readiness assessments
- Integration of DevSecOps practices and security aspects
- Security-in-Depth: Developing a deep understanding of Security-in-Depth strategies
- IT security training and contributing to process documentation
- IT & Compliance Audits:
— SAP Audits: Security assessment of user access, permissions, and password policies; Review of SAP basis and system performance; Data integrity in the SAP system
— General Infrastructure Audits: Network security, cloud infrastructure security, virtualization & containerization, disaster recovery & BCP
— Compliance Audits: Regulatory and industry-specific compliance (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, ISO 271001, GDPR, & BaFin)
Requirements or Interest in Learning from Our Experts
- You demonstrate outstanding curiosity and motivation to quickly delve into new knowledge areas and stay updated on developments in IT security.
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an information technology-related field, such as computer science or similar.
- Expertise in authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and single sign-on is essential.
- Initial experience with concepts of Identity Lifecycle Management, Identity Provisioning, and Identity Attestation is advantageous.
- You are open to new challenges in areas such as DevSecOps, Application Security Testing, Identity & Access Management, and Risk & Compliance.
- Expertise in compliance frameworks, data privacy, and privacy.
- SAP Audits: Understanding of SAP permissions and security policies; Knowledge of SAP system architecture and configuration; Experience in reviewing data integrity in the SAP system.
- General Infrastructure Audits: Network security knowledge; Understanding of cloud service models; Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies; Understanding and testing of disaster recovery strategies.
- Compliance Audits: Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations; Experience in applying compliance standards (including ISO 27001/02).
- Knowledge in the field of cloud security services, especially in the areas of identity and access management, platform protection, data and application security, and security operations, is highly advantageous.
- Interest in ransomware topics and experience in developing readiness assessments are appreciated.
- Customer orientation and the ability to work in an international environment in English (including documentation) are required, with German language skills being advantageous.
- Enjoyment of project work in national and international project environments.
